I agree almost entirely with this review; the episode did fell a bit out of place and not subtle at all. Also. the case of the week felt a bit redundant. But the episode had great moments: all of the Mellie/Cyrus scenes ("Welcome to Siberia."), the Abby/Harrison moment, Quinn as Huck's protege, and, of course, the

Mellie continues to be flawless.

This is so weird. I still cannot process it.

It was such a great moment! The scene where we're finally getting to see the genuine mother side of Emily — extremely poignant.

"Sweet, poignant, and completely in character by everyone." EXACTLY! It's moments like these that make the relationship between these two the most adorable/best mother/daughter relationship on TV, ever.

I think it irks us all, but it's something to expected. She never actually got to know her daughter and her granddaughter and just wants to show her granddaughter off and make her happy, even though she doesn't know what really makes her happy. Emily's never had a sane relationship with her daughter and she just

I LOVED that scene. I also loved how thoughtful Rory was bringing something to read, even if it was a a magazine.

He is really sexy. He actually reminds me of Jon Hamm. And, even though I'm rooting for Luke, that makes me absolutely love him.

I think that's why I appreciate "Cinnamon's Wake" as an episode. It allowed the town itself to be a character, a quirky adorable character.

I actually feel like there's a lot of chemistry between Loralai and Luke — that hug in "Rory's Birthday Parties" says it all. I love that he comes off as an indifferent character, but we all suspect he isn't — like how he made that cake for Rory, so sweet.

It's these quotes that make Gilmore Girls THE BEST.

Yes, please!

Just one point I forgot to add in my first comment: I absolutely hate Chad Michael Murray's character. His obnoxiousness is so infuriating. Sometimes jerks are likable because they have this attractive bad boy quality, and I cannot see anything attractive about his character at this point (well, except for his looks,

I get that. But just seeing her work this hard, especially when everyone in school was giving her a hard time, then seeing her fail was SO SAD.

Exactly!

I agree with you about"Kill Me Now." As of that episode, I'm officially in love with this show.

The relationship between Rory and Lorelai is truly fascinating. That scene where Lorelai stayed up with Rory to help her study KILLED me.

I actually loved these episodes because they both broke my heart — each in its own way.

It felt forced in the pilot, definitely, but it gradually became one of the most natural aspects of the show. It makes Scandal what it is.

Sasha is DEFINITELY my favorite TV teen. This facade she puts on to everyone — that she's tough and sometimes rude — makes her true self — the naive, innocent teen — all the more potent.
