The show reminded me a lot of Up All Night. Everything was nice and I like all the people doing it but it just wasn't that funny.

Easily the best episode this season, probably in a few seasons. Rafi and Dirty Randy were on fire the entire time and some of the guest casting was great too. The show had become a little repetitive week to week but this was incredible.
Yeah, Dexter really achieved something impressive in turning so many of its biggest fans against it. If you go on the Dexter subreddit everyone hates it and usually tv subreddits are the most circlejerky parts of the internet. The HIMYM subreddit still thinks that show is good.
I think this ending would have been a lot better, but that's a pretty cheesy final shot. The lead up to him getting caught could have been awesome though.
Yeah, if Weeds had have ended on the 2nd last episode I think it almost redeems both of the shitty last 2 seasons and the fucking about in seasons 4 and 5. It was a genuinely great finale that they decided to redo because… reasons?
Often they don't even have to offer up money. It's a part of a lot of contracts where the main cast become producers after a few seasons (usually 4 or 5). The title is largely for show as far as I'm aware.
Not even the AV Club community is prepared to deal with this amount of hate.
He seemed weirdly disgusted by the idea, like killing people is all good but if you dare to take even a nibble…
Wouldn't Ghost Gellar be a double ghost?
I saw all the seasons. Yeah, there were problems but I though the 2nd last episode was so genuinely good that I forgave the show most of its flaws. The last episode was terrible though so I guess I'm giving Weeds to much credit. I just can't see Dexter doing even half the finale that Weeds' penultimate episode was.
Breaking Bad ends one week later than Dexter and Showtime/HBO never air anything on Labor day.
I think people over-rate just how much fun Season 6 was to watch. Sure it was awesome fun to make fun of Dexter and read through everyone else's jokes here (especially since we still weren't sure if the show was really this bad yet) but the show was actually pretty boring to watch. I used to spend more time reading…
Weeds was never this bad.
I think the Brain Surgeon arc just does more to suggest that the entire premise of the show (that Dexter is a psychopath who has to kill) is flawed.
I think a lot of us did really enjoy Season 7. I thought the episodes up until Isaak's death were among the best the show had ever done. Actions appeared to have real consequences and the plot didn't simply amount to 'Dexter thinks he can feel things but it turns out he can't.'
Welcome Joe! Punch is available by the blonde girl in the corner.
It will really annoy me if Matthews decides that Dexter has 'failed' only now that he is dating Hannah instead of the dozens of other times where he has broken the code.
Plus, if they finished with some courtroom stuff you could get the great line:
Lawyer - "I'd like to address the bench, your honour"
Batista - "She has a name!"
Don't worry MaxFreedom, one day we will be able to torrent love.
I joined the live viewers at the start of season 5. I just assumed we all liked Rita, I always did.
