The show is dead though, Lorne Michaels has to know that at this point. Surely it would be easier for him to just make a new show, it's not like he has to go through the trouble of wondering whether it will get past the pilot stage.

It's gotten way more violent in recent seasons. The 100th episode for example, involves Thomas Gibson beating his wife's killer to death with his bare hands.
While I think the other shows put the focus on the people who investigate the crimes, Criminal Minds does glorify violence in a similar way to the Following.
Question: Did you run out of letters on your user name?
Pretty sure she and the FBI agents said it multiple times throughout.
I thought the group hug was pretty heartwarming. I'm pretty sure I'm not reflective of the general population as I cheer for almost 50% of the killers on Criminal Minds, although that ratio seems to be going down more recently.
The whole point of the guy in the knight shirt was that Psychics work because we want them to work. Alex wanted the knight to exist so she saw him in even the most tenuous way possible.
Yeah, I enjoy how it's basically just Criminal Minds but every week the cops fail. As someone who has watched many a cop show only to grow to hate the main characters so much that I actively cheer for the serial killers, it's very refreshing to watch a show which is primarily about irredeemable killers.
Yeah, how was that not a superbowl ad? It was way better than anything that aired.
Weirdly, I think my favourites were the 2 Go Daddy ads. The kissing one was just disgusting enough where I feel it moved into genius rather than pandering and the sky waitress ad had the best lines of the night. I also kind of enjoyed the Audi ad if only for the kid's acting. Ultimately though, I thought it was a…
Don't you mean 3 times, he's probably been given a meaningless executive producer role by now.
Yeah that was super weird. I buy that no one stopped him if everyone acts terrified, but everyone just stood there and let him pass inches from them.
I was telling my dad about this show and he swears blind that he read that Kevin Bacon was the serial killer. So I sort of buy that he could be.
@avclub-f9612d06549ffe449e39e34fae8e2549:disqus Well, I assume they'll be with us for a few more episodes so they probably did mean to make them (or at least Emma) sympathetic. I assume Emma will become a hero when the jealous gay guy kills her boyfriend and Emma has to rescue the kid.
Pretty sure that was entirely because Fox pulled it for baseball.
Yeah, I didn't really find any of the jokes funny last week and was just checking in to see if it got better. Chick Klubb, Bobby B, Armond and even Rich Dicks were better than anything from last week. I too haven't seen Degrassi so that could be it, but I was also fast forwarding through the PubLIZity stuff by the end…
That was 10 times better than the pilot, right? Chick Klubb, Armond and Bobby Bottleservice were all pretty funny.
I mean, that's why Criminal Minds is so highly rated, right?
I think I'm getting soft guys, I couldn't get past the idea of Rafi railing Hayley. I was watching the episode of Blue Mountain State where it ends with a virgin volunteering to get double-teamed by 2 entire sports teams and this was just as unsettling.
TV is different now, CBS is the only channel that can still build an audience over time.
