I loved Frankenstein
I loved Frankenstein
Last time I got all bent out of shape about DC and Alan Moore some commenter was all "You expect them not to make money because it isn't NICE?" Like I am the asshole. So yeah, fuck it, screw Alan Moore, get PAID
Hate Scott Snyder on Batman. It's like the Francavilla art on Detective tricked everyone into thinking he was good with the character
I dropped every DC book soon after the New 52 started because I was like, ugh enough already. Since then I have read some stuff from the library. The Superman books are very good, especially if you just pretend it is an Elseworlds and not the "real" Superman. Batgirl was good too.
Get outta here. Also this is basically the premise of the Ultimate Spider Man cartoon, young teen superheroes training under Nick Fury (Squirrel Girl shows up there sometimes. It's good!).
From what I have read opinion is split on it now but considering the technology available at the time it looks great. I saw the handpainted color guides online and you can see what they were going for.
I missed it, what is he an asshole? He seems the type.
Wow this guy is really into Little Shop of Horrors
The marvel Akira is a back issue bin must-buy for me. The computer coloring and heavy covers, just a gorgeous book. I tried reading the b&w phone books but couldn't get into it as much. And also the movie is still amazing.
When i used to work weird hours the TNT angel- supernatural- Smallville- charmed blocks were a good way to wake up.
Charmed is my wife's favorite show. Constantly I am watching TV and hear "Piper dated him" or "He was the wizard in season 6." And I nod and pretend to know what she is talking about.
TRUTH
Was the show even still on? I had it set to record and I only got three episodes since last summer.
If they broke up after Mothers Milk people would call them the greatest band of the 80s.
Aka Zilla
I always thought Urge was slightly ahead of their time. Like more people would have been into their retro thing during the White Stripes Strokes era. I loved Saturation in high school though, and they're on the Pulp Fiction soundtrack so they are immortal.
Am I the only one having trouble following the first review?
I thought he was great back in the day. I am glad he doesn't write anything I would want to read anymore so I don't have to feel conflicted
Anthology good, 2 page previews with no punchline or conclusion bad. I think that's why they issued a guideline instead of an ironclad rule
Jeffrey Brown is usually good, my kid likes the Star Wars stuff a lot.
