Ad Block Plus changed my life

Comic relief
It was especially nice to have a light, comedic episode sandwiched between the Van Gogh and the finale. Gives us a chance to catch our breaths

Both hilarious

I've noticed something in these comments.
A lot of people seem to think they could have written the show better than the people who actually wrote the show.

I didn't start hating Nickleback until Dr. Mrs. Aqualad pointed out how completely retarded the lyrics to "Photograph" are.
Then I saw that Youtube thing where the guy puts the two Nickelback hits together to reveal that they are in fact the same song. Hating Nickleback became an obsession after that.

I didn't hate that song when the Spider-Man movie was out, but for the life of me I can't remember it now. I can picture the video with Chad Kroeger and the Fat Guy but I can't remember the song at all. i think I'm better off this way.

@ Lovecraft:

What's the deal with Twitter?
Seriously, what's the appeal? Text messages from strangers over the internet? I don't get it.

I'll definitely check that book out.

Dear Joss Whedon,
Please write a comic book one-shot of 1977 Blaxploitation Slayer, drawn by the Afrodisiac guy, and if possible work in a cameo appearance by Blade. Love, Aqualad

Fry's not a nerd
Nerds are smart.

When the first episode of Futurama aired, all the stupid hippie kids in my dorm gathered in the lounge to watch it. They were all high as kites, and giddily excited for a New Simpsons. After the show was over the fat one stands up and says "Well THAT sucked!" and they all went outside to play frisbee in the dark.

World of Wizards
Anybody else go to Wizard World Philly last week? Sisko, Picard, Data, and Q were all there signing autographs and doing Q and A panels. Q and Data were very, um, actor-y.

Congratulations on nerding up the AV Club.

The problem with the comic, I think, is that they aren't sure how to match the monthly comic pace to a TV series 'season.' The idea that vampires are the new hotness in pop culture was a GREAT one, and should have been given more space. Similarly the Twilight reveal was great and shocking and everything, but

I bet that happens to a lot of people once they move away from Sunnydale.

I was only a casual viewer of Buffy, and I was shocked (SHOCKED!) that all my favorite episodes are from the reviled Season Six. In conclusion, suck my balls, Internet.

Thank God I'm not the only one!

Fascinating and enlightening discussion.

So many good tracks on that album.
