@ Chirco
That Starfleet Academy episode was really good. I haven't seen it in years but I loved that episode as a teenager.

Yeah but without the transporter you don't get the scene in Star Trek 2009 where Chekov beams Kirk and Sulu while they're falling off that platform thing without working parachutes. That was awesome.

@ The Rurr Jurr:

For the record I am hip and do amazing things, and I have no interest in this comic.

Then again I collect Disney comics and love Brand New Day so I realize my tastes may be different than most. But fuck it, Millar writes entertaining comics.

I hate the "Frank Miller has lost his mind!" meme even more than the "Millar is a hack!" one. How can anybody read DKR, Year One, and Spawn/Batman, and not realize that Miller's Batman has always been a psychotic asshole?

The fucking holodeck makes my brain hurt. How can hologram bullets kill real-life Borgs??? It don't make a lick of sense.

You're absolutely right that Voyager killed the Borg.

I liked Quark's retarded brother, and the Baby Quark that hung out with Jake Sisko.

People are still crying about that Wanted ending?

Because most places don't have a drive-in.

I saw Hostel 2 on Syfy Channel a couple weeks ago. Since all the torture and gore and everything was edited out for broadcast, all you had left was the story. I gotta say, it was a smart movie. I gotta agree with Warren Perso.

Switchblade Sisters is amazing. Definitely the best of QT's "Rolling Thunder" repackages.

Well he's right.

I think Zombie has a really great horror movie in him, but he needs someone else to write the script.

Death Proof works for me, even with the unnecessarily long talking scenes (especially from the first group of women).
Tarantino totally captured the experience of eagerly renting an awesome-looking horror or action movie based on the kick-ass box art, and then founding yourself watching a cheap talky slog of a movie

The poor man's lexicondevil

Yikes

I can't stand any of the songs the whiny guitar player sings. The other guy is OK. Mark Hoppus.
