Yeah that was a pretty stupid argument. I mean, there were a shit ton of Marvel books with bone-clawed dog-faced "savage" Wolverine in the mid 90s. Walowitz and Sheldon would have seen one of those in the back issue bins even if they'd never read Origin or seen the Wolverine movie!

Just buy the Marvel Visionaries: Jack Kirby hardcover from Marvel. You get the first appearances of the Surfer and Galactus, This Man This Monster, and a whole bunch of other Kirby awesomeness in a nice thick hardcover for like an eighth of the price.

Yeah, Walowitz made out like a champ in this deal. The show gets bonus points for having Sheldon hold the issue in his hand in one scene.

Black Sails, Art of Drowning, All Hallows, Sing the Sorrow were all really solid.

Frank Miller gave her heroin and porn. Smith just took that to its logical conclusion. (Spoilers! She didn't really have AIDS. But Bullseye did kill her dead)

An Empty New York City
Growing up in Jersey I have always been fascinated by movies that show an empty, desolate New York. Escape from New York, Vanilla Sky, AI, I Am Legend. It could be the shittiest movie ever but if there's a scene with an empty Times Square then I'm on it.

Well that was uncalled for.

In my area (NJ shore) Sublime were bigger than Nirvana. Shit was huuuuge with the kids.

We already know he's a sucky teacher- remember his intern last season? Of course this show is pure fantasy so the students will love him and he'll get great evaluations.

70 is passing, 75 a C, 84 a B, 93 an A.

Nothing makes a student more suspicious than an old person trying to relate to the kids. The worst thing you can do is try to rap with the youth about today's popular music.

Love this show.
Keep your lousy Fall season with your worthless new shows. Summer reality shows are where it's at. Big Brother, Hell's Kitchen, the shows where fat people go on dates…that's the good shit.

I really liked Rust In Peace.

That was great.

Tim Sale is clearly the brains behind the duo. Look at any of Loeb's non-Sale work— X-Force, Cable, Superman/Batman, Ultimates- it's unreadable. The Sale collaborations, though, like Marvel color books, Long Halloween/ Dark Victory, and Superman for All Seasons are all great.

Mice Templar was good (at least the first couple issues were- gI ave up on it pretty quickly), but Mouse Guard does the same thing, better.

Great story

SO WRONG

You had to be there, I guess
