I don't think I've ever used the word "dreamy" to describe a man, but hot damn, Siddig?

You know, I never minded Keiko, but now that you have presented this alternative….yeah, I'd watch that too!

I really like the scene with Sisko and Kira, where he's yelling at her for talking about the prophecy in front of the Cardassians. He says something like "How can you know what it really means, something written thousands of years ago, translated again and again—and it was all written as a metaphor to begin with?" …

Agreed. That scene is A+. That's one of the things I love about DS9. It had all these great little character moments which served to enrich the world the writers were building. I've seen TNG, DS9, and a few eps of Voyager, but DS9 is the show I feel could actually possibly exist, with characters I could actually…

Dejah Thoris. From A Princess of Mars, by E.R. Burroughs. I'm still not sure how he got my mom to agree to that name. It made for an interesting childhood though.

I always thought the Cardassians made for the most interesting characters.. They were alien but not unsympathetic; even the worst of them had redeeming qualities. It would be interesting to have a Trek show where they were the main characters. I'd watch it.

Aw, thanks for the welcome! I was really happy to stumble on the forums here. I was a little worried there was no one around who wanted to talk Trek these days. Apparently I was wrong!

"The son speech in particular is a fine piece of work, well-written and
beautifully performed; Dukat complains in a way that makes him both more
vulnerable, and more of a creep."
