Disagree Jordo.  Chase's statements to Belzer and his statements about the Jerry Torciano hit in the Sopranos HBO book are hardly vague.  In those statements, Chase does seem to be engaging in some verbal gymnastics to not actually say the words "Tony died!"

Jordo, I enjoy your posts here and do like some of themes you discuss.  That being said, it always seems your opinion on the big ideas of the ending is mutually exclusive from Tony dying.  Why can't Tony be dead AND all of the things you said about the meaning of the ending be true at the same time?

W.A.. Your comment is the classic say anything to rationlize that Tony didn't die argument that I often hear.

Todd believes Tony died. I follow him on Twitter and he said if he had a gun to his head he would say that Tony died.  But he will do just what you said next week to be political and to defer to his idol/buddy Sepinwall.

I think the idea is (and I'm not saying I necessarily agree with it) is that Patsy's motive to take out Tony arose AFTER the failed hit on Sil.  In the next episode Carlo's son is picked up the feds forcing Carlo to turn state's witness.  A couple of scenes in "Made in America' suggest Patsy is uneasy about his son's

Just thought there should be a mention of Artie and Charmaine's last scene.  They are together and appear to be very happy.   They were the only ones who stayed safely out of Tony's orbit.

Sepinwall's argument (as I pointed out last week) is terrible.  The guy simply won't admit that he was wrong about his prediction (way back when) that Tony would not die.

Totally agree. Tony is living peacefully on a farm upstate with all of those other dogs!

This is a complete mischaracterization of Master of Sopranos argument.  He/she states that Chase doesn't care who killed Tony and those that are searching for the culprit are missing the point.  However, there is a seperate section of the site that speculates as to who may have done it (IF, as the site points out,
