I liked the episode but…
Fuck Comedy Central, and Viacom for making the network the least DVR friendly channel out there.

Besides the chases, the fights, the Baseball Furies, the soundtrack, the DJ (rip) calling the gangs, there is one scene of silence that sends this film into another stratosphere of incredible.

Stop saying umbrella!

Ha! I was about to ask the same thing about RPM!

The dude hates punkers. Especially bald ones with green makeup; wearing masks to hide ugly faces. Ooooo!

Neither the time, or the place
I always was struck by (and agreed with) Bart's look of distaste, a grimace of displeasure at witnessing the cutting of the infant's genitals.

Fine, don't mention it.
But the Empire Strikes Back ending with Brian and Mike leaving in a van looking for Marsha, Mike yawning like Chewie into the walkie, Tim and Daisy arm in arm, fade to stars was fucking brilliant.

Well, thanks, I guess, for keeping it civil.

Obviously, we are going to get to the bottom of the JFK conspiracy, right here, right now, without a shadowing of any doubt, on the AV Club message boards.

And let's not forgot King of the Hill's Trans-fascism episode. Oh wait, let's forget it.

Wasn't Wile E Coyote on trial in that episode?

Family Guy doesn't take from Champloo.

Lifting straight from Samurai Champloo
Some of those fight scenes and cuts are straight from Samurai Champloo… specifically from the last three episodes.
Between that and The Red Ball, McGruder seems content of lifting some stuff frame by frame and inserting his own characters. I'm not complaining.

Sword of Justice
…is what I original thought this article was about when I glanced at the link and clicked it. Imagine my disappointment when there wasn't a write up of Hanzo to be found; 1970s Japan's take on a 17th century samurai Shaft. (Which is saying something…)

First of all, she doesn't know Boondocks, second, the figure is closer to 97.5%. But I stand by my original statement. DTMFA

Isn't tolerant of anime? Dump the motherfucker already

Hmm… you may be right on the Vancouver dubbing, but I haven't heard some of the tell tale signs in anime of Canadian accents as much as I did in X-Men TAS. (Of course that works for Wolverine).

Animated Series Was the Best
As good as X2 was (most of it) I'll still take Night of the Sentinels over it.

I find the aftermath of R2R pretty funny. During the promotion of the film, they had David Arquette win the WCW Championship Belt (?!), a move that further delegitimatized the org and its alienated its fans (a rather difficult thing to do: they were watching wrestling after all), and was a big step in the WCW folding

Old Lost Episodes VHS
I remember a video that somehow made it to our house, purporting to be the lost episodes of Twilight Zone, was my first introduction to the series as a pre-teen and gave me some genuine chills.
