I heard that a lot of the members of that organization are just mathematicians who enjoy making up fake "proofs" that the earth is flat. They're secretly giggling at each other while they dish out ridiculous equations and hypotheses that the "true believers" eat up wholesale.

The problem is that he has been accused of raping women less than 20 years ago. The most recent one is 2008. There was a 2005 case where multiple women had asked to testify against him in court, using their real names. Unfortunately the accuser settled out of court so they didn't get to. Possibly her lawyer advised

There's this one called youtube that has lots of unboxing videos. Maybe you should check it out.

So because the Catholic Church exaggerated her impact, that made her a "conniving bitch"? I mean, she still devoted her life to helping the poor, for God's sake.

You may not like what he does—I don't even like it much—but to deny he is both smart and talented is foolish. Just look at all the other wannabe shock jocks that have tried to copy him. None have even come close. Lots of people copy being shocking and obscene without realizing that the real secret to his success was

I haven't seen failure that big since Russian general Gorchakov was defeated at the battle of Malakoff.

That's pretty played out at this point. I can't say I'm all that upset at it not happening, assuming it was going to happen.

Well, I'm not saying their accents were authentic but their characters were all from Savannah, and they were certainly were genteel. I get your complaint about people thinking all southern accents sound the same, but this seems like a poor place to bring it up.

Listening to her and Scott talk is so much fun. I just don't get why everyone doesn't enjoy it. I will admit that she was a little weaker in the last bit, but I didn't think she brought it down at all—just didn't participate all that much.

I love Jason doing that deadpan character. I was so used to hearing him always be himself that it blew me away to hear him do a character like this so hilariously, and so perfectly. He and Jessica are a perfect match, too. The way they play off each other is just brilliant.

With HDTGM I think there are two rules: live ones are better, and ones where they actually like the movies—even in a "so bad it's awesome" sense—are better. Both of these things bring out their enthusiasm. But the ones where they lack these are often so boring I turn them off halfway through.

Totoro is so fantastic at relating to both adult and child audiences at the same time. The fantasy and wonder appeal to children, but as an adult you identify so strongly with the father, and the older sister.

Those movies also have a sincerity that later films lack. Even though the jokes, premise, and story were dumb, he always did the characters with so much enthusiasm, and everyone involved was working hard to sell every joke.

I DON'T CARE!

I saw no disdain for the crowd in the second SXSW episode. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I love Tig and her deadpan comedy, and I don't think I'll ever get tired of Adomian's Leykus. I listened without looking at the summary so hearing Tig's fiancee come on was a pleasant surprise for me. Then Enter Sandman kicked in and I

That is indeed the bit, and personally I find it hilarious. The Bob Ducca episode is my favorite example of this, and to this day possibly my favorite episode of the show. She is very deadpan, very negative towards everything, and butting in with stupid questions or comments at the funniest possible times.

Am I in the minority here? I loved it. Tig's being annoyed and put-upon seemed like the perfect reaction to Leykus's schtick. Also I loved when she answered the question "What are you looking for in a man?" with "Friendship. Trust. Nothing else."

I think my favorite bit of PFT off-mic laughter was when he lost it at Scott assuring us that this Michael Ableson guy is an actual person, and not some comedian doing a bit.
