My hypothesis with Lucas is that it's not that he wanted to have the money himself. He just wanted the status of having something he created go down as being as popular and financially successful. He spent years working on the outside and being told that his ideas just weren't profitable. When his ideas finally

If you hate Cyndi Lauper, you must also hate fun and hate life.

Somebody who wanted to be a novelist, but failed at it, and works as a real estate agent to pay the bills. I think it's a really good lyric.

I enjoyed Armen's awkwardness, and the reactions it brought in guests. No doubt this was mostly because they brought on hilarious people every time. I left this episode feeling like I'd gotten just enough of Armen, and glad that Wie-Wie would be back next time.

I didn't like the Lester & Eliza ending at first but it really grew on me. It's definitely one of those moments that sticks with you.

I like "Meeting Across the RIver" too, although I don't think it really fits the album. Musically I feel like it would have gone better on The Wild, the Innocent, and the E Street Shuffle.

That's what makes it so creepy! There's something about a children's toy being pure malevolence that is scarier than almost any horror movie I've seen. They make him less scary at the end but up to about 2/3 of the way through him (and that mutilated doll that doesn't talk) are freaking SCARY.

Is Foo Talkin' U2 To Me?

I saw Cabin Boy opening weekend too. Loved it! Looking back, I can see how some people didn't like it but I think they just didn't appreciate how even the bad parts are brilliant in a "so bad they're good" way.

2Clear 2Present 2Danger

I didn't think it was possible to portray the concept of "soulless" with a single image so effectively, but now it's been done twice.

I would say typical speedrunners are just as obsessive as you are, if not more so. It's just a different type of obsession.

Christopher Lee's vocal performance with Darth Maul's appearance would have been amazing, and possibly given Darth Vader a run for his money in terms of being a cool bad guy. Well, OK, there's no way that would have happened with Lucas writing it but it still would have been pretty damn cool.

Episode 3 the prequel I dislike the most, but part of the reason is because it's better made than the other two.

I don't get why people cite Darth Maul as a positive. He had so much potential but they just wasted it. It's bad enough that they didn't make him into any type of an intelligent or capable leader figure. I suppose they could have just left him as this silent, threatening antagonist. But then they decide to have him

The script was one of the problems, yes. Also the fact that we were apparently supposed to identify and sympathize with a character who was a selfish asshole. Wow, the more I think about it the more I see how similar it is to the prequels.

I think a lot of it was that once he did strike it big and had a mega-million blockbuster, he felt like that vindicated him. But he also started to see that as his ultimate goal as a filmmaker, and became obsessed with putting out huge blockbusters that made as much money as possible. I don't think it was even that he

Well, the opening crawl doesn't mention anything about taxes. That's a definite improvement.

I think the point of these edits is that almost everything except the light saber fights were terrible. A bunch of lightsaber fights with no emotional stakes IS better than that. Quite frankly I felt like there were almost no emotional stakes to begin with.

Clearly Lucas's agenda with the Star Wars series was to make us think incest and pedophila are okay. First we have a brother and sister making out, and then we have a 19 year old and 10 year old falling in love.
