This week follows the tradition of Professor Blastoff's review being the opposite of how the show actually is. This week's episode is hilarious—I actually laughed so hard my sides started to hurt, and it just keeps getting funnier and funnier. The Angelina Wells conversation is solid gold, and the pictures on the

I like how the reviewer went out of her way to specifically mention Tom Leykis and Merril Lynch, almost as if to acknowledge that last week's CBB review was a huge mistake.

I remember having this conversation with one particular Australian woman who didn't understand why they made fun of Australia and going, "but they make fun of America all the time." And she was like, "They do? Where?" I couldn't believe that was even a question. I then went to point out that they had made fun of

Yes, in Rand McNally The Simpsons has been getting better every year!

It was heavily marketed in America as an Australian beer. The commercials usually involved some sort of Australian stereotype followed by an Australian guy going "Fosters. Australian for beer."

I have a soft spot for Spin Doctors too. Say what you will but that song is catchy. As far as pop-grunge goes there are far worse tracks out there.

YOUKNOWATAMTALKINABOUT?!

I had never heard Leykis before the podcast but instantly got it. I may not know Leykis, but I know his type. In Chicago we used to have a guy named Mancow who was basically the same thing. Once Stern broke big all the local radio stations were looking for the next big "shock jock," and most of them wound up with

They could have given him his job back.

I think it's pretty obvious where all the love is with the Eagles now. Resting comfortably among giant piles of money.

I thought it was by Phil Collins! That says a lot about how so many of the pop songs and artist of this era blend together into one big flavorless mass.

Agreed. It also made his character funnier. "Pathetic, but mediocre enough that he can fool himself into thinking he's not pathetic" is much funnier and more interesting than "so pathetic he's suicidal." The second one lends itself to a few kinds of obvious jokes that have already been done many times.

You have made this fan of the real Cookie Monster very unhappy.

I was disappointed when I hovered my mouse over the image for this article and the caption "four Krustys!" did not appear.

RHCP were definitely not dicks to Weird Al. They were just disappointed with the way he parodied their song. And with good reason—his video for the "Give It Away" parody video is boring. I can totally see how they would be let down, especially considering his last video was "Smells Like Nirvana."

I agree with @avclub-af95af2627f837175b14bd72fce0e2ba:disqus—early Red Hot Chili Peppers is at least interesting, even if it's not very good. It's… okay. And at the time it was a very distinctive and unique sound. Yeah, you could say they were derivative from the start but at least they combined their influences to

He starts off almost sounding like a douchebag, but then redeems himself for all the reasons mentioned above. On top of that he is just really genuine

I was ready to post this as soon as I saw the title of this article. And I'm surprised no one had this in the article.

Yeah, it's so weird how the whole cultural context of Burton's Batman has been retconned! These days the narrative seems to be that everyone was like "Oh my god I can't believe they made Batman so campy and lighthearted," when really everyone was like "Oh my god I can't believe they made Batman so dark and serious."

Triumph is a lot funnier than people give him credit for. Sure the "for me to poop on!" bit got old fast, but that was never his whole act, and anyway he stopped doing it after awhile.
