Halfricans have the best of both worlds.

The lack of audience laughter was a little jarring at first, but I think it's a good choice. I felt like I was appreciating the scenes on their own merit. Besides, urge to "goose" the laugh track would be strong, and it might sound like people on a roller coaster for a half hour.

I'm waiting for Dolemite…
