As someone who has never liked zombie anything, I was somewhat surprised to realize that I not only loved iZombie, but looked forward to it more than any other show every week. It's a very original take on zombies. But at the core of it it's about the characters more than anything. The lead, Liv, does take on

Good call not bringing Ragman along on the recruitment mission - love him, but dude gives a creepy first impression that doesn't exactly come across as, "We're the good guys! Come join us!"

I thought it was a trait shared by all of them - HR even asked if they had Big Belly Burger almost the second he came through the portal if I remember correctly (though his love of coffee has vastly overshadowed that since).

It's because a large percentage of the sci-fi/fantasy shows were and are filmed in Vancouver - I've seen so many actors from shows I love guest/recur on other shows I love as a result over the years.

It was definitely a pilot, with the expected strengths and weaknesses that those generally come with. But I like the concept and I'm a huge fan of Tudyk and Pudi, so I'll be giving it the full chance to come into its own. And I can unreservedly root for it to do well now that the Good Place has been renewed!

My feelings exactly.

He was in the pilot, then played that character's descendant in a recurring role that was later promoted to main, possibly in season 4. My memories of the show in later years are mostly fuzzy with confusion and disappointment, but I do remember liking his character. Also his original character from the pilot was the

I have this quixotic dream that Michael Shanks could play Bruce Wayne to her Talia - he already proved he could do the brooding superhero thing when he played Hawkman on Smallville. A girl can dream, right?
Basically I miss having Michael Shanks on my screen. Daniel Jackson was my very first character crush, and I've

Oliver has forgotten too, which will make it even more of a blindside when she uses the information she's been gathering on him…

This Week In Why Rory Continues To Be My Favorite Recruit:
He started off strong with the hilariously detailed story about the gold medalist-engineer-vigilante-astronaut-ninja who works at a soup kitchen on Saturdays and rescues puppies on Sundays he created just to prove a point. Then came the second week of

I want to know if the sticky note and its wording were Barry's ideas or Oliver's - I'm leaning towards all Barry, interpreting a vague request from Oliver.

I don't know if anyone remembers the Gene Roddenberry-inspired Canadian sci-fi show "Andromeda", but as a teenager I loved it (for the first 1.5 seasons at least, before the original showrunner left and it got weird and nonsensical). Anyway, this episode gave me unexpected nostalgia because it was a quasi-reunion

On a related note, when can we get Karen Gillan and John Cho back on TV full time? Not necessarily together, it's not like I still quixotically wish deep down Selfie could get another chance or something… Anyway, Hollywood, I'm just saying, take a look at these gorgeous, talented people - how are you not breaking down

I feel guilty for not having checked out two of them, but damn, the loss of Selfie still stings. ABC has NOT been kind to shows I love in recent years, and that makes me skittish when even considering checking out their new shows for fear of the past repeating.

This exactly! Well said!

Good for him! Love Mark Hamill as a person just as much as I love him for his professional work.

And the "it can't see us if we don't move" nature of it was very much like the T-Rex (loved that whole scene). It looks like a zombie but acts like the dinosaurs from Jurassic Park - I'm so very much on board with an antagonist with that description.

I see it more as a bell curve - not so great first impression with his antagonism towards Inhumans, then steady improvement after he became then-Skye's partner and frequently used his brilliance as a mechanic, and showed his humor and what a caring friend he was. But now, sadly, he's devolving again.

Even in the opening narration, the inflections made it sound like Damien was getting in a dig at Malcolm for being the "former" head of the League of Assassins.

I can just imagine what adding snide Snart to the mix will do…any time now…right, writers?
