I'm still in mourning for Young Justice, so I'm going to repeat one of my comments from last week: Evelyn has a lot to live up to bearing the name of my favorite Artemis, but I'm truly hoping she achieves that.

“Was he waiting for an entrance line?”

I was poised to comment on how Lyla is the best as soon as this review was posted…and I was still beaten to it. But if anything bears repeating, it is this: LYLA IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST.

You are absolutely right. It also has one of my favorite overall atmospheres in any supernatural film; I can't help using the perhaps a little too on-the-nose description "spellbinding". Jack Lemmon on the bongos might have something to do with that, of course.

My deepest apologies, it was thoughtless of me to inflict my pain on others. But we'll always have the series - he can never take that away from us!

OK, I saw the name Shyamalan below the thumbnail of a bald man in yellow and had the momentary fear that someone had let him near the Avatar the Last Airbender world again. Yikes.

Curses! I was genuinely excited to see what Star Trek helmed by Brian Fuller would look like. Now it seems like all we'll get will be brief glimpses of what might have been. Maybe I'll go rewatch Wonderfalls to cheer up.

I will accept that!

Hey, he was rushing to beat Wells, that kind of pressure was never going to yield his best work.

It's almost like they were trying to ensure that we'd miss Harry as much as possible once he returned to his Earth - well, mission accomplished!

I remember seeing an interview with Tom Cavanaugh some time back around season 1 where he mentioned that he wasn't sold on joining the show until they confided in him that the character wasn't going to be what he seemed (to put it mildly). So you might not be that far off, since he keeps getting to try out new

I agree; it was truly a glorious moment

After this episode, I really REALLY want Xavier and Timothy to become friends in spite of everything - they got on so well before Evie entered into it. It would be a nice variation on normal triangle dynamics, and make Timothy more relevant.

I desperately want them to visit his Steampunk earth now.

I love how pleased Barry seemed with his resemblance to Oliver. It was an adorable moment that felt like Flash of old, much like the rest of the episode.

You've hit the nail on the head - that's exactly the magic factor that guarantees my love for this show no matter what.

I really enjoyed this episode, and I love seeing Cavanaugh playing different roles, but some of the alternate Wells felt a little over the top cartoony to me - I wish they'd dialed them back just a touch. But the reactions to them were great.

I loved that final scene, because I was dreading the cliché of Lucifer's mom recoiling in horror over him killing his brother and leaving him alone even though he did it partially for her sake. But instead, in spite of her own grief, she immediately recognized her son's grief over what he'd done and comforted him,

I did think about that, but all I can do is hold out hope that Disney will see this as prime audition material and give in to what should be an inevitability.

I came by here for one reason: to find out if I'll need to cheer up one of my best friends because Glenn died. Looks like that's an affirmative.
