“mild-mannered accountant who moonlights as a lethal assassin.”
The car czar?
I love this series. I only saw it in late 2013, though, so I missed the
events that occurred on Tumblr and Twitter. I was kind of glad I did,
since I didn't really like the idea of having to follow the show in
every social networking site (to be fair, it was a smart move and I'm
sure it took a lot work).
Brie Larson was amazing in Short Term 12. Too bad we see so little of her in this episode. I thought since she's appearing in the episode after Troy left, she'd play something along the lines of helping Abed cope. Though on second thought, that would discredit the events of last week's farewell. Anyway, she's a…
Cristin Milioti is a gift to the world. I'm so glad they made her sing in the show.
It is. Sara said that she was inspired to write the song from a friend's struggle to come out as gay. A lot of people seem to still be unaware of that.
Ben's dad! I knew I've seen him somewhere else before (aside from Breaking Bad of course).
She's coming back in Episode 6, I think. The episode after Donald Glover's last.
Taking a darker turn could mean missing the opportunity of having the audience, adults and children alike, appreciate and even love an older lead actor. And it's not about the looks either, just the general idea of TV shows projecting younger leads as more accessible when in fact that aspect is ultimately determined…
I think you may be underestimating the new fans of the show.
The Doctor even told Tasha: "You have been fighting the psychopath inside you all your life."
Sure, the bow tie drop might as well be fan service, but it can also be taken as the period to his farewell speech earlier: "I will always remember when the Doctor /was/ me." Bow ties /were/ cool, and so was this Doctor, and way even more.
An article discussed the significance of the nudity and how it foreshadowed the Doctor's regeneration:
I wish you all the best and I'll be looking forward to your next projects. Thank you.
Thanks for creating this show and for 3 great seasons, Lauren. I love how you showed Jenna grow up from a girl who needs to DTR to have a peace of mind from someone who can go to prom alone and dance without a date (I was in a rather similar situation, minus the prom part). It's fascinating to watch someone unravel…
Joan watching videos on multiple TVs was really cool, especially when you remember that Sherlock was doing the same thing when she first met him. It was a nice contrast to the earlier scene where Sherlock couldn't break in the car because of the Detective Bell situation. He loses his concentration while she improves…
I hope they do pick up Boyhood aka The Twelve-Year Project. I'm also looking forward to seeing Happy Christmas and The Skeleton Twins.
