…which brings me to my most glaring issue with this show; that they have the stones to try to convince me that bone-skinny Katharine McPhee is a better Marilyn than Megan Hilty.

THREE-PIECE SIX NINETY-NINE!
After last night, I'm thinking a returning Tyler takes a bullet from Nolan.
I was particularly fond of "Oh, I didn't see you behind that centerpiece of orange and silver leaves."
I was so surprised the reviewer didn't note that—particularly as a means to a shameless promotion of AV Club's current "Alias" reviews—I had to double-check to make sure this wasn't one of Emily Yoshida's thoroughly incompetent ramblings.
Okay…seriously, can we cool it with referring to this season's episodes of "Chuck" as being "burned off"?—They're airing EXACTLY as they were always going to.
Ugh.
@Merve2:disqus , for some reason it won't let me respond to you directly, so here's this.
Maybe the most astute thing she's written into a review all season…which isn't saying much.
"Emily Yoshida writes this one up, and then she’ll see you in 2012."
….who, according to our bonus clip, weighs more than Allen Iverson.
Well…have you met this reviewer?
No, actually, I appreciate it quite a bit. Nice to have someone on the inside indirectly call bullshit on our less-and-less-esteemed reviewer's misinformed, "Why the hell are you the one they picked to cover this show?" machinations.
Couple things…
Agreed. I don't think a single review from this season has gone down without some sort of glaring factual inaccuracy/omission, wild misinterpretation of a bit/joke, or just a general moment of being perplexed as to how/why this person has been assigned this show.
…and it's the episode NBC's been promoting all week. I can't lie; when the water bottle fell out of her skirt, I audibly grumbled "Oh…fuck you, NBC."
My favorite unexplained Kevin innovation: STAIRS-MAN.
Since our own Miss Yoshida somehow let it go mentionless, can we get some love going for William Morgan "Elderly Canton Everett Delaware III" Sheppard (father of sci-fi darling Mark "Younger Canton Everett Delaware III" Sheppard) as the put-upon priest?
Ugh.
Well, to be fair…have you met the AV Club?
