Bays isn't saying Robin is the perfect woman, he's saying that she's the alleged perfect woman for Ted. The show is about how a man finds what he thinks is his perfect woman, and struggles with the realization that she is not.

I thought Kat was pretty tremendous for being unintentionally hilarious. Her general airheadedness was a constant source of amusement for me on OW.
I couldn't believe she was cutting off and yelling at Erik. Like holy shit woman, how can you expect anyone watching that to want to give you a million dollars? She came off like a complete bitch.
I'm really happy with the general reaction to this season on here. I'm a member of POS on Facebook and that group seems to be a haven of nerdrage and complete contempt for modern Survivor. I'm glad a lot of people here liked the season and rank Cochran as a good winner. I thought it was dynamite in the post-merge…
One of the best parts of the episode.
Rupert can fuck right off if he's on the cast. I am SO tired of that guy.
I have already begun to refer to her as The Anti-Todd
Cochran wins. Rejoice AV Club. Rejoice.
They really don't.
When I got out of Iron Man 3, one of my first thoughts was how pleased I was to see a totally different movie than I saw in the trailer. Good on them.
Yeah I think with only one or two tribals left to use it, the producers would be better off leaving it be.
I think I'd be inclined to favor China's. Lisa didn't even start playing the game until the last two or so episodes, and spent most of the time before that being actively bad at Survivor.
Today will be both the happiest and saddest day of the season for many people.
I just want to take a moment to thank you for acknowledging the brilliance of the last two Marianas Trench albums.
Perhaps the fabled All-Winners season is upon us?
My god you're (almost) right.
It's basically been his bread and butter for the last nine years.
I'd say Colton was right there with him.
Bit of a tough episode to get through. Shamar's personality is so volatile and annoying, and the whole show was pretty much about him.
Or were Neilsen familes.
