Tonight Malvo drew a pair of aces, next week its aces and eights.

The entire show is supposed to be funny in a really warped, fucked up, dark comedy kind of way.
He really outdid himself tonight. Telling his wife to put his coat on and pull the hoodie up was just so awful.
The look on the fat guys face when I pulled the gun out, classic huh?
There can always be more Bauer.
I'm assuming it was Cross.
Jack knocking out that guy for his Landrover was such vintage Bauer.
Jordan: Sir, thank you for trusting me with this responsibility.
Either you're missing my point or I haven't stated it well enough, so I'll try again. Tonight, for the first time ever, the show runners badly squandered the source material. To use a baseball analogy, this is the first time that the show runners have ever seen a "meatball" and not hit a homerun. That's my problem.…
Since you know the books so well you must know that a lot of the episode tonight was not directly from the books. You must also know that the chapter in which Stannis shows up is the same chapter where Jon leaves to treat with Mance, which we saw tonight (albeit it under entirely different circumstances than in the…
I actually think the show does a lot of things better than the books, but this is one of the few instances where I think they fucked up.
I don't think they made Ygritte (or anyone involved in the battle tonight) a compelling character on the show, so I disagree.
And all of that couldn't have been included in an episode dedicated to the wall?
Where did I say I wanted to see 30 seconds of Stannis tonight? I wanted Stannis to get adequate screen time in this episode and not be treated as and afterthought next week.
No, I wanted them to outline the episode better so that it could end with Stannis's cavalry charge.
I got to agree with Todd.
I understand what they did and I think it was a terrible mistake.
Seriously. I have defended the adaptation of Stannis in the past, but no longer. D and D kicked Stannis in the balls tonight. One of the most memorable moments in the books is going to be treated as an afterthought next week.
Just an odd adaptation choice. How can you have an entire episode dedicated to the battle at the wall and leave out the climax of the battle?
Where the fuck was Stannis?
