The varying degrees of reactions I have watching Hannibal are quite amazing. Sometimes I am totally repulsed, while other times I wish I was dining at Chez Hannibal cause the food looks fucking amazing. Tonight definitely evoked the former.

I agree. I was pretty annoyed with the "Will is losing his mind" plot at the end of season 1. However, the reveal this season that Will wasn't losing his mind, but was being masterfully manipulated by Hannibal made me change my opinion.

Yeah that was great. Will told him that because he knows that is exactly what Hannibal wants to hear. And I don't think Hannibal is on to it yet; Will's playing a very dangerous game of passive-aggressive chicken.

It almost seems like this role was written for Davies; he's basically a Daniel Farraday who loves animals instead of physics (and who was kicked in the head by a horse).

I binged watched all of season 1 recently so I had no idea that this episode didn't air. I actually thought it was one of the better episodes in season one; it was fucked up.

And on the third day Jesus ripped away the sutures and removed himself from the dead horse's uterus.

That was so on point that I almost couldn't believe NBC aired it.

I could of looked it up if I wanted to…

This was a fantastic setup episode; it moved all of the pieces into position for a crazy end to the season.

Hmm. Then that is a little odd that Horik wanted Athelstan to stay. I like the result though, so I'm OK with it; the Athelstan and Ecbert scenes have been some of my favorite this season.

Didn't Horik's son die in the raid in which Athelstan was captured?

Crazy prediction time.

I fear for Bjorn after that scene; I don't think he is returning from Wessex alive.

After Ragnar emerges, before they embark - what a great scene. There was no dialogue and none was needed. A lot of them are going to their death and they know it; it is the greatest honor in their society to die in battle, yet their silence tells it all.

Zane is a legend.

Listening to LJ's RHAP exit interview has made me re-consider Tony's play last night. LJ claims that he wasn't planning on sticking with the group of six (like it was portrayed last night), and was going to try to get Tony out next episode. Obviously people lie in their exit interviews, but I don't know why LJ would

Both Trish and Tasha seem to be playing the game, but we are seeing very little of them playing the game; I don't think that bodes well for their chances.

I feel like he has done a good job of not burning any bridges; of the three current jury members I think Morgan and Sarah would vote for him over anyone and that LJ would likely vote for him over anyone except Trish and Jefra.

I thought for a moment that he shaved at the spa day and then his flesh colored beard reflected some light.

Be prepared for the return of redemption island in season 29; I think they are doing blood v water with all newbies.
