I think I just died in side. Who decided that was even slightly funny?

Too much sports.
Shows outside the US that need to be included: "Answer Me This" and "The Bugle" (which is half American, anyway.)
Sometimes I wonder if DLM could use fewer guests. They often spend half an episode introducing the comics and when someone Doug has a great rapport with, like TJ Miller comes on, you want him to spend all his time nerding it up with just the one guest.
That is the upside.
Meh.
Why would anyone pick this Hitchcock to remake? It was all about pretty people in a pretty location, with not much plot at all. I don't think it's a very strong base for a remake.
I noticed it too. Mike Detective is a weird show— I find it easiest to listen to in big chunks, instead of episode by episode, as I get into the rhythm of it more.
Smallvillians
I never saw Smallville, but I am enjoying the weekly review series at ComicsAlliance, and they seem to agree that Rosenbaum is always better than he should be. Seems a shame that he hasn't had much of a career since leaving that show.
I've said it before
But "Canterella" is a great comic about the Borgias and would have been an easy adaptation to the screen. If anyone has interest, check it out.
If I wanted ridiculous over the top Arthurian shit…
I would watch BBC's Merlin, which is in fact a lesser version of Robin Hood.
Paul F. Tompkins does an amazing Cake Boss impersonation.
Bones
That show was enjoyable in its earlier seasons. A shame it has become the "oh just go and get married already" show crossed with stupidly rehashed mysteries.
It would also be a sign of the oncoming apocalypse.
@Dijonase— can't vouch for instantwatcher.com, but Buffy is expiring 4/1, according to Whedonesque.
I think of how they should just adapt the comic series "Canterella," which is about the Borgias AND has demons.
@ Pro Tools— Thanks for the site. I wish Netflix would fix their stupid interface…
I guess I'd care
If Showtime's motto wasn't "HBO but sexier and with less plot."
For big new shows like Spider-man, tickets will never be cheap. But standing room only, day of, and the TKTS booth all provide reasonable discounts for tix.
I am so happy there's a sequel. The thing is addicting, if a tad short.
Sounds great!
Icognegro is an amazing stand-alone graphic novel, definitely worth picking up. I look forward to this as well.
