He sounded almost Keanu-esque. It was excellent. But it was also one of the first times I thought he'd be called on his ridiculous cover identity.

@Speaking Of— Yes, it is. That actor is always showing up in the weirdest roles in films…

I found the film version of 39 Steps pretty unwatchable, since it has practically no soundtrack to speak of and is overly episodic. The play version, which is a bit of a tongue-in-cheek retelling, is excellent.

Just as Burn Notice is getting a little stale
Matt Nix rescues us from summer doldrums with this show. I really enjoyed this episode— the writing, as you say, could stand to be a little snappier, but the leads are so much fun to watch I don't care. I especially enjoy Julius and think he could develop into more than

DELETE THIS THREAD, PLEASE.

I do enjoy me some Merlin, for reasons I really don't understand. Probably Anthony Stewart-Head related ones…

I was waiting for someone to make this comment. I am not disappointed.

Um, yeah. He uses the dagger all of 4 times (mind you, there is a lot of talk about the send being scarce, so that kind of makes sense), but every time he does it it's after the action has occurred and everyone is dead/dying.

@lord Flasheart— MGM can't do anything because it declared bankruptcy. Even if these movies were "sure things" (which considering how much The Hobbit will cost and how much Quantum lost, is not true at all), there's no money. MGM has to sell the rights, which will take some doing since they're in bankruptcy court

@Innocent— He most definitely did offer to relocate them this time around.

@Lovecraft— I really appreciate that DW got me to watch the BBC Casanova. What a crazy awesome mini series. Also, David Tennant half naked… mmm…..

Yes, do it Noel!

This is probably the wrong thread for this, but Rand Paul seems like an asshat.

Judging from what I've seen of the development of Red Sonja, thank your lucky stars that it's still in development hell. Better a good film that takes a while than a terrible, terrible film, right? Or did Watchmen teach us nothing?

Don't get too excited. The pilot script was atrocious.

You've either made my day or ruined it. Not sure which yet.

Stranger Than Fiction
Good screenplay. I remain optimistic.

Yes on the "Amy's Choice" being good. Moffat's not the only talent here.

@Mr. Greene— You're making me cry just thinking of those lines. Poor Ten…

@Monkeylint— I did the same thing. It doesn't get suddenly brilliant, but it does become steadily more entertaining.
