Sound Mixing and Editing
I really liked that Freeman-narrated clip. Every year they try to explain what those two categories are, but this year it really made sense. The Oscars should attempt stuff like that more often, instead of being just a pompous "actors are the only thing that make a movie good" show.

Mute it, then. See the button on the right?

@Dominic— The greek chorus would have a appeared if Depp's daughter hadn't gotten sick, causing them to change the shooting schedule. I blame her for the film's major problem.

If McDonalds
Ever serves anything in the US worth eating, that will be a banner day. Until then, suck it up, Frenchies.

Man, Comedy Central
I really wanted to watch this show, but they made it practically impossible for a TV-free person like me. I bought an episode on iTunes, liked it fine, but had no other way of finding it online to see if the rest were worth buying.

@Evel— I dunno, actually. I grew steadily more disenchanted with the books after #4, and I hate the films with a passion. Growing up is also a factor, I suppose.

@OriginalODB— I caught that too. How did Marshall not pick up on that? Is Scooter already canon?

No— it was much better than Donna suggests. Not the ultimate episode of the season, but quite good.

I'm glad to hear Unwritten is still going well. I read the first two issues, then fell behind, then got the trade last week. It's everything I ever hoped for as a former Potter-fan.

@not — I'm basing this off my trips to Irvine, which is admittedly further.

Here in LA
All we hear is bitching about how far away Comic-Con is, considering all the media coverage around it. To move to Anaheim, only about 1 1/2 hours away, would be a godsend.

This must be for next season
But

@TheLord— I want to live in a universe where deserving sci-fi actors are given roles in indie films in the hopes their fandoms flock to it.

I'm still in my early 20s and have done absolutely no dating, but I always worry that by the time I finally get around to meeting a great guy I'll end up the female part of the unhappily married equation. My parents got married in their 30s after never having any other long-term relationships, 20 years later they're

Wow
She's great in An Education and I spent the whole film wondering where I knew her from, only to realize she was on Dollhouse at well. Adele is a great character and Williams did a tremendous job. It's unfortunate that for all the great acting on Dollhouse it only drew attention to how one-note Dushku is.

This episode
Really solidfy my feelings about last season's arc— Michael had no hesitation about apologizing and admitting his weakness in front of Sam and Fiona, whereas previously he might not have admitted how much he needs them. I thought the episode was perhaps a tad overstuffed with Nate's return but overall it

I noticed it too. I believe it said, WANTED: A DECENT JOB. I understand the sentiment but not the why.

@Doctor— Not after the last season's finale, no. Fiona had to give it up to keep herself alive.

@Steve— Society and nature breed differences in genders, so yeah, there always will be a little bit of a "team" thing going on.

I'm stilling finding it hard to admit
That the former loves of my life are not that hot. I have a tendency to be really into something for a few years and then move onto something else.
