I always loved the little moment where Mulder is talking to his neighbor on the phone about the water bed and says, "I think it was a gift." I just love the idea of Mulder - who questions and looks for a deeper meaning behind EVERYTHING - doesn't think that deeply about a waterbed showing up in his apartment. That

I always liked this two-parter and I do think there's a lot of stuff that would have been a shame to cut had it been one episode (Morris at the FBI office and the Scully seduction, Morris with the Lone Gunmen), but there are parts that are super draggy. I actually always sort of had an optimistic view of this episode in terms of learning to appreciate the life you have. Triangle is such a great episode. I have fond memories of watching it when it first aired and being so excited about it with all the build up. This wasn't the end of it being my favorite show though.  No show can stay atop the zeitgeist forever and while the media attention and mainstream audience for The X-Files was
