Hub Network reruns a couple-few episodes of The Animated Series and New Adventures most weekdays. If you've never checked 'em out — or if you want to revisit for free — there they are.

Saddest of all, Eight Crazy Nights was a wasted opportunity. Sandler was close to the height of his powers and influence. He had a chance to make a Hanukkah cartoon movie. If they got anywhere close to doing it right, it becomes an instant classic, guaranteed to rerun every year, if only by default — I mean, how many

While Buck's show had any number of… uninspiring elements, here's how I interpreted it, from the perspective of a total outsider: Lange's lively presence was the nail in the show's coffin. If it had just been a lackluster sports show, it might have limped on for awhile. But with Lange dropping zingers, Buck looked

Fascinating discussion, the Casino issue. I don't know if the movie really does anything Goodfellas doesn't. So I don't think it exists independently in many minds. I'm curious how the two movies would rank with a viewer who saw and fully digested Casino first.

No Billy Madison? I'm sure that was just an oversight. OK, MAYBE the third act was a little shaky. But…

Cheers. Also, for what it's worth, the show's mere presence in the weekly rotation is a win. Just because it doesn't make Best Of every week (or often), that doesn't make SPY a terrible or worthless podcast. It's still leaps & bounds above countless shows (many of them bigger shows on major podcast networks) that

This response is based on very distant memories from my 9th-grade self: Mission Earth starts off OK. It's no Battlefield Earth, but it's enjoyable. Around book 3 or 4, it suddenly becomes unreadable, and I quit. Hubbard died at the same time that the series took a turn for the worse, so it's easy to speculate why it

I read the hell out of Battlefield Earth in 7th or 8th grade. I remember it as a poignant, gripping epic. And I'm quite content to leave it there.
