It wasn't a particularly insightful critique, but you were clearly meant to empathize with the Chinese. Claire Danes is fucking awesome, but that smile was goofy as hell. I mean, it didn't really bother me much as I was watching it, but I kind of hate it now after reading this review and knowing it served as a jumping-off point for Todd's awful little soliloquy about the mysteries and magic of acting.
