Parks has a cynical view of politics as well - nowhere near as cynical as Veep, but cynical nevertheless. It's just much more optimistic and feel-good about its primary characters (I was gonna say it's much more optimistic about people in general, but then I remembered the town hall meetings).

My relationship with Seinfeld and Julia Louis-Dreyfus is actually very similar to yours. I've always recognized her as a very talented and funny performer, but it's always been sort of a distant appreciation at best. I absolutely, unreservedly love her on this show though.

Both were excellent last year, but I'd give it to Esposito because Paul will have a shot again next season and he's already won an Emmy. Gus Fring deserves some recognition for his work.
