Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but: I just went back and watched that scene from S3E06 ("Sunset") where Walt is reading Leaves of Grass, and I'm pretty sure the copy he's reading in that scene is NOT the same copy that appears in season five. The one he's reading in "Sunset" looks fairly well-worn; the copy in…

Walt never read Gale's dedication to him. I think he kept it because it was a token of his superiority to Gale that he thought only he could recognize as such. Since he never actually bothered to read it, he didn't realize he was keeping a piece of really incriminating evidence on his toilet.

Alright- can we nail this down? When exactly did this copy of Leaves of Grass appear earlier in the series? I saw it earlier in this episode when Walt reached for the towel; and I of course remember the conversation between Hank and Walt with the "WW" thing, which they flashed back to when Hank was on the toilet. But…

Yeah, the last couple of episodes felt a tiny bit stale to me. I started to feel, in particular, like the show had gone to the "ironic juxtaposition of classical piano music" well a few too many times. It was the first stretch in a while where I felt like it was a show made by mere mortals… But this episode…

I love that those two lines are the last two on (basically) the entire series.

I think this must have been from one of the deleted scenes things on the DVD, but I always laugh when I think of Dave Chapelle as Silky at the Player Haters Ball looking at a picture of Rosie O'Donnell and saying, "She wears underwear with dickholes in 'em." All the other actors in the sketch immediately busted up…

Thanks, Russia, for making me feel slightly better about the pathetic state of American democracy by comparison…

Yes, it was! Like the exact moment when her character died, with that exaggerated head movement- really took me out of the movie for a minute.
