Having only seen the first episode, I have to say I don't understand the goodwill directed toward this show at all. I wanted to like it somehow- probably because Kat Dennings is hot- but I just couldn't.  Especially compared to some of the TV comedies that are around nowadays, this show just seems so sitcom-y, stale

Yeah- they had a "fall TV preview" thing on NPR the other day, and when they matter-of-factly said something about how, in the sitcom department, NBC was struggling while CBS was thriving, it was a real, honest-to-goodness "red state/blue state" moment for me- I was genuinely confused for a few seconds when they said

Yeah, Louis CK has officially reached "fart in a bag" status for me…

Especially after glancing at this on rottentomatoes.com (0%, 17 reviews ranging from "bad" to "putrid"), I'm not entirely sure what makes this a hair better than Apollo 18 and Shark Night 3D (last week's two Fs)…

I love the idea that the manliest man's man in the world, Ron Fucking Swanson, has been shaped into who he is largely because of these three women. Named Tammy. Also, anytime Leslie gets fucked up, it's a good time.

Wow, two Fs on the same day? I feel like something cataclysmically awful must be happening right now somewhere else in the world- like Uwe Boll having a child.

MTV's only doing this show so they can finance a much more personal, gritty show about drug abuse- 'They Shoot Hipsters, Don't They?'.

I have not encountered a word that is more commonly misspelled, even by otherwise literate adults, than "Colombia."

Well, he's been in that depressing monstrosity sitting next to him…

He asked her, "Are you still here? / Ni hai zai ma?", but he had a weird accent, probably southern (Chinese, not English), that made the "zai" sound like "zhai." She responded with something to the effect of, "Of course I'm still here- where am I going to go? What are you guys doing? I need to get home; I've got kids
