I kept thinking that Sherlock staring at Bell's shooting target was going to lead to Sherlock diagnosing him with some neurological disorder that would end his detective status again.

I rewatched end of the cold open about 10 times - the music build up into the title card. So good. I never thought a Jefferson Starship song could be that cool.

Before image macros existed, I'd use Impact as the font when overlaying text on an image in Photoshop. In my old, old version of Photoshop, it was one of the only fonts I could get to show up clearly and legibly over a picture.

They'd be best off doing traditional 2d animation direct-to-video movies. Occasionally releasing one as a feature too, I suppose.

Anytime something happens with my glasses, I use a Milhouse line. Like "My glasses!!" or "I need those to see!" Also another Milhouse-ism "I need that to live!" which is also adaptable into other situations, like "My legs? I need those to walk!"

alternate "…in the Itchy lot."

I always say "OH MY GOD" in a gruff old man voice while holding an imaginary cigar, like Chris Farley's car crash monologue in Tommy Boy.

I always want to use "My name's in the phonebook!" when someone brags about some trivial notoriety on facebook, but I don't because it would be rude.

"Now I'm just a simple country lawyer…"
-used famously in Simpsons, Futurama, Venture Bros, etc. I got around to seeing Anatomy of a Murder recently, and my mind was blown when that line was used basically verbatim. Didn't realize that was the source.

It's almost as if the two different AVClub articles were written by two different people!

"Finally, Thorn discovers something many of us have long known—namely that Fletch is an indispensable piece of ’80s pop-culture."
I just watched this (it's on Netflix atm), and thought it was one of the most overrated movies I've ever seen. It was okay at best.

At the time, I hadn't seen Goodfellas, didn't get the segment, and hated that they just kept repeating the same bit over and over.

Yeah, it's kinda like how on a normal person, it's a "gross facial mole," but on Cindy Crawford it's a "beauty mark." But nevertheless, this story is still a good thing.

I just finished Season 4 and I don't really get why everyone says it's so amazing. I mean, it's really good but I didn't get what sets it apart from 1 or 3. Season 2, I liked okay - I didn't think the docks storyline itself was bad, but the show suffered from Ziggy being such a cartoon character. Lots of the other

Love a 2-minute pop song, which you never see anymore. I've often bemoaned the bloated length that hit songs have grown to…starting in the late 70's I guess? A great song leaves you wanting to hear that hook one more time. A song that repeats the chorus 15 times just gets tiresome. This one reminds me of other

Well yeah, a 5/5 for 4 mana is tough to deal with.

"If I don't save the wee turtles, who will?!"
"Gah, save me from the wee turtles! They were too big fer me!"

That's a good term for why I'm not a big South Park fan. They practice both-sidesism with the goal of holding themselves off as smarter than everyone because they don't choose a side. But to me, it's just annoying.

If you subscribe to Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences, it'd probably fall under visual-spatial intelligence. Pattern recognition, ability to visual objects from different angles, mental rotation, etc. It can contribute to your "smartness" if applied in a field like say engineering or physics (although those
