I still really like almost everything on Jagged Little Pill. But I'm also a big fan of women with quirky, warbly voices, like Alanis, Linda Perry, Delores O'Riordan. A lot of people find them annoying instead.

I guess I don't understand what other people don't understand about it. First of all, it's not strictly a "humor" column in that its primary intention is not to make you laugh. (Some people think it's supposed to be Dave Barry I guess?) It's more about the life of a moderately successful comedian rising through the…
People are allowed to write about their achievements and how it makes them feel. It's not like she's bragging about becoming a millionaire or something.
Yeah I'm pretty sure precedential case law will get this dismissed quickly.
Wow, I just read his original comments. Actually his defense of child porn viewers is kinda the least thing wrong with what he said. Here's the two gems:
Goldeneye came out in November 1995. This episode was November 1996.
This is the best basketball ref motion: http://big.assets.huffingto…
I think it could be good if they made the subject of the interview actually look at the lyrics and analyze them and think about it critically for a couple days before putting it into words. Instead, these come across like they just popped the question to the person and made them come up with reasons on the spot.
And Sgt. Pepper was an answer to Pet Sounds, which was an answer to Rubber Soul.
I really disagree with the interpretation of Korra desiring self-harm. I saw it more as just her training to get back in fighting shape, while being too ashamed to show herself in public until she's ready. She's got too much pride to be seen as weak. Also, the avatar is a symbol of hope, so it wouldn't be good to…
I very much enjoyed the construction and humor of this article, especially the turtle joke. That is all.
Yeah, that's absurd. I'm not someone that really "gets" Radiohead. But they have at least a half-dozen great rock songs even before they started getting into the really weird stuff. Just looking at their singles, I'd say: Creep, Stop Whispering, Iron Lung, Fake Plastic Trees, Just, Paranoid Android, Karma Police.
Yeah Vs. is my favorite Pearl Jam album. Lemur says he moved on to punker things, but "Go" and "Animal" are two of Pearl Jam's punkest songs. On the other hand, Jeremy and Even Flow are both "change the radio station" songs for me.
I like all his other films, or at least would rate the most of them as "Good", but I didn't like Bottle Rocket. I guess I just didn't get it?
Don't think so at all. Seems humble.
This movie was underrated.
Life had one of the best board game wheels to spin. You could really get it going, and it made satisfying clicks, like a baseball card in bicycle spokes. It was also fun to pop the little people in the cars. That's why I enjoyed it anyway, despite it being meaningless and devoid of strategy.
"Being married to Marcy would turn any man gay." -Al Bundy, probably
I think the singing actually sounds fine. Especially considering this was a 2010 reunion tour, not 1998. The guitar - well I guess this is the guitar version of lip syncing. I don't think even a mediocre player could mess up basic chords that badly, unless they knew their guitar was going to be muted in the mix and…
Eh, I think that's an unfair reading. I mean, he personally selected her to open for him. He wouldn't do that if he thought she was truly insignificant. (And it's also probably true that the average paying audience member at a middle-america comedy club hasn't heard of and doesn't care about the opener.)
