I've seen a few70's Chinese Kung Fu movies.
I could never sink my teeth into them (I think I saw them hanging out with my brother in law when he was a projectionist at an outdoor).
I agree that the minitramp induced flying kicks etc. vaguely resemble Carpenters flying swordsman scenes.
@ Cool Dude
I mentioned the great outdoors last week.
Then I got philosophical and remembered where I'm posting.
I took my cat out in my kayak.
Walking the deck was too much for him but he didn't seem to mind sitting in the hold with his rather large head sticking out.
Don't know what passing boaters thought was going on.
Flubber was a creation of Science not Magic.
If you'd have said the ring in "The Shaggy Dog" you'd have been on target.

So Cute and yet…
Oddly enough I saw that this weekend too.
I'd DVR'ed it based on comments from this board.
Wonder if Carpenter felt ripped off Creeping Dragon/Hidden Tiger (or whatever)?
BTILC predated it by 14 years.
The flying swordsmen are completely ripped off.
Yeah real porn entrepreneurs are way too classy to snark on serious literature.
Thank god
I thought I was the guilty party
I always fast forward to the end to see how it.. er … comes out.

You may be to young of an age to realize her beauty.
It may be the early cinematography too.
She's hot (at least to a guy staring 60 in the eyes).
@Abbies
In this particular thread does that really escape you.
Mr. Sinclair that's funny
Streisand and Chris Christopherson "A Star is Born"
@Dr. Robutnick
I know your a married man but you've got my ex-girlfriend's picture as an avatar, then top it off with defending Lee Van Cleef's looks, man you are so f*cking with my head.
@ ja rule
Bingo
I asked my ex-wife once if she thought Lee van Cleef was attractive (mind you this was a test for trying to find out what women's parameters were in this kind of thing - I'd picked Lee van Cleef because he seemed like the homiliest guy this side of Rhondo Hatton) and she said she thought he was attractive.
That's definitely the film I was thinking of.
I guess that was the era of German/Italian female directors.
