Terry only died two weeks ago. he wasn't in last week, but we did get funeral planning, then this is the funeral.

yep, he pulled vacation time for that trip.

I don't really recall the details of my paternal grandfather's funeral, but he was a WW1 European theatre vet and died at New Years, so the weather may have played a part in curtailing some details.

with mom's dad, his mother got the flag (outlived all four sons); while dad got his father's flag (only son of four).
