It's not his weight that's weird, it's his face. Nothing matches up with anything else—his tan is too dark, his teeth are too white, his hair is too blond. Something artificial is happening there, though I can't put my finger on what it is.

Golly, what a treat to have you in the theater. Otherwise, they might never have figured out that Mission to Mars was terrible!

You're right, IWPFTQ, I don't know much about the details of the business, so it was probably ill-advised to try to argue from that standpoint. My bad.

Yeah that's it, @avclub-d7f43e1fb2d4977c86163d9b0cb07814:disqus , the OP was just selflessly crusading for quality cinema everywhere. The irate guy who confronted him was being a jerk for not gratefully accepting his brilliant critique of subpar filmmaking.

I hated Terminator Salvation, but it's people like you who make me hate seeing movies in the same room as strangers.

They never fully explained what made Walt turn his back completely on Elliot, did they? I got that there was some jilted-love thing going on with Gretchen, but they left the whole thing ambiguous enough that there might be some neat, unexpected reveals in S5.

So much of why I love the show is that each episode blends seamlessly into the next. Ranking episodes, for me, is like trying to rank scenes in The…

Another reason that's a good choice is it highlights how Walt is fully aware of how horrible his actions are, and that he half-expects some sort of karmic retribution to come crashing down on him. It's the whole theme of the series condensed into an episode. Plus, it's always an unmitigated pleasure to watch episodes…

Sorry, you're probably out of luck. They don't even have season four on streaming yet. Which is why I just canceled my streaming plan and switched to DVD-only.
