You know, I love to hate on Tyler Perry as much as the next guy, but the moment in the trailer where Madea lifts up somebody's bedsheets and intensely whispers, "Wake up"—Lord help me, I laughed. It's good to know that this movie really does suck, though. Equilibrium has been restored.

I remember when @mbs:disqus gradually ramped up his manic-ness to the point that I was genuinely concerned for his mental health. @mbs:disqus WAS a gimmick poster … right?

Since when did slapping the basic plot structure of a Shakespeare play onto a braindead teen rom-com count as an "adaptation"? She's the Man resembles Twelfth Night about as much as the Battleship movie resembles a board game.

She's The Man would be much better if it had stayed as a rejected screenplay in a slush pile somewhere.

How good this album will be is inversely proportional to how much dance-electronica noodling is on it. Given the music that opens the album trailer, I'm not optimistic. Give me more "Pioneers," less "whatever was going on in that third album."

Please. The entire Tom Noonan arc, including *SPOILER* his suicide, *END SPOILER* is worth buying the DVD for, all by itself.

I'm amazed there aren't more people nominating The Phantom Tollbooth, though maybe that's more of a children's book than YA.
