Full disclosure: I only played Dark Cloud 2 and while I love the "feel" of the game the gameplay was not great… there are recipes that you have to physically write down, like, on a piece of paper! And I felt like I didn't have good enough gear at the end of the game so I had to read a guide and grind.

Rushing to McDonald's. My 6 year old son will love this.

It's almost like Rust was too powerful for the first season. He really dominated. Here I'm more diverted, though Colin Farrell's acting really stands out.

Agreed. I'm loving this season and I didn't expect to.

I kind of like that the writing is ambitious and stylized but yeah that line stuck out.

Yeah those two games are maybe the only ones that I topped 100 hours on. It's not unusual.

You're in for a treat. When I got that I didn't realize it's the same guys who did Dark Cloud and Rogue Galaxy.

I like to play LOOONNNGGG RPGs during the summer. Persona 3, 4 and FFXIII were some memorable ones. Something about lying down on the couch and pressing a single button over and over again.

I just listened to the first Foo Fighters again for the first time in a while. I love the feeling of one guy in a room with an eight track just working through shit recording these awesome songs by himself. It lends it a sadness the follow up doesn't have (but the follow up is still great).

"Matt Parker and Trey Stone" names are mixed up Mr. Jakes.

I thought it was quite good. Harris and Theron were great. Expectations were not high though watching on HBO GO.

I find Apatow's long movies easier to tolerate than these long superhero movies. Nobody needs a Batman movie over 2:05.

You really think enough of Wright's script will be there for an edit?

I feel guilty for not finishing Dark Souls as a habitual game-finisher. But I felt like I was just doing the same thing over and over again for 40 hours and I wasn't even past the halfway point.

Yeah and there was discussion between he and Bobby Bacala earlier in the season about how when you die "everything goes black" or something like that.

I'm playing Ni No Kuni this weekend and for the next many weekends because it's apparently very long. I started playing it recently and it finally dawned on me that this is by *that* Level 5 that did Dark Cloud 2 and Rogue Galaxy. Ni No Kuni is a worthy follow up to those games. It's very comforting.

I think it was Golden Sun.

Why not both?

They asked me for clearance to use my comments already and I refused. I don't need that kind of validation.

I'm thinking more "Shoah".
