Yeah, and I remember he's advertised for both McDonald's and Burger King.

Was trying to get through the DVD set of Power Rangers awhile back and I couldn't help but notice how there was a tag at the end of every episode where, in a prank gone wrong, Bulk and Skull somehow always end up humiliating themselves. As a kid I don't think I ever liked either one of them, but watching it recently I

Damn, that one line: "I'm as far beyond mutants. . ." What a line. What delivery.

Yeah, as a kid Apocalypse always kind of scared the shit out of me.

I love the animation in the X-Men cartoon. It's part of what makes it what it is, in my opinion. It wouldn't be anywhere near the same if it looked like Batman: TAS.

Absolutely love the X-Men cartoon. It's really got kind of a gritty, 90s noir feel to it, in my opinion. Can't help but think it'd have a better reputation if Batman: TAS hadn't come out at the same time. Think it kind of overshadowed X-Men, which doesn't get remembered as well as it should because of it.

Not a big fan of Returns either, though I think when they mention it being disappointing, it's not only a reference to its critical reception, it's also a reference to its financial reception, since it didn't make as much as they expected it to make. Agreed. I went in knowing as good as the first season was, there was no way this would compare, especially as rushed as it was. Once you get beyond that and look at the second season for what it was though, it wasn't too bad. Definitely enjoyable. At least for me anyway. Really hope this isn't true about the

I thought the AV Club was the hipster bandwagon.

Yeah, seems like they showed it a couple weeks ago.

I've laughed at that clip on YouTube more times than I can count.

I say that all the time.

Always thought it was funny how doughy he was, trying to be a badass.

If I remember right, it's way more muddled than that. Drugs have taken over the streets in Dolemite's absence, so they let him out as kind of a sleeper cell to take care of the problem. Also, in a great twist, turns out his nephew's one of the victim's that's overcome in the epidemic.

Oh. That sucks. But that explains it.

Was something wrong with the original Frieza voice?

Yeah, what I've read of the original manga's been pretty entertaining. Cool characters.

Supposedly. That's what they're airing on Saturday nights now. They throw out the words damn and bastard a lot.

Yeah, that's probably what I'll go with.

Thanks for the heads up. Didn't know there was an uncut version.
