Yeah, Keaton is great. You know, I was thinking about this the other day, but Keaton's performance — I'm thinking that disconcerting distraction he exhibited throughout as Bruce Wayne — is one of those things, along with his appearance, that has never really been a part of that character before, but yet somehow

Nice avatar.

Being that the reputation of Batman Returns has skyrocketed in recent years, I hesitate to say this, but it's one of my least favorite of the series. It's just so damn bizarre. I know this probably wasn't what they were going for, but whatever it was that made Batman 89 what it was, just wasn't there when they did the

Oh dude, I forgot about those. Weren't they the lids they used if you got a soda at McDonald's?

Oh man, me too.

This might not get me any friends, but back in high school I had the George Clooney Batman t-shirt they used to sell at the WB stores that I used to wear to school pretty regularly. (Went to a small school and was fairly popular. Everybody knew I was a big Batman fan. Nobody gave me shit over it.) Anyway, fast forward

Stated in another thread the other day, but I really love Batman & Robin.

That made my day, man.

Yeah, I think she's pretty good on the show too. Great character, I think, with a great actress bringing her to life.

Definitely improved. For me the show started off all right, nothing egregiously bad or anything, but I can't say I was all that into it either. Then, at a certain point, things just started to click. Being OCD I had kind of committed to watching the entire season as soon as I watched the first episode, but in this

Yeah, the fight was pretty tough. I'm probably more invested in the relationship than maybe I should be, since I think girl's so cute, but that was a tough bit.

Watched bits of that video last week. Well worth checking out, if for nothing else as a portal back in time.

Yeah man, for whatever reason, I really love movie novelizations, and I often wonder, which one's the best. Sounds like the Banzai one really adds a lot to the movie. I looked at the preview on Amazon and it looked surprisingly really well written too.

For reals? That's awesome. Sounds like I need to track down a copy of the Banzai novelization.

Don't know if he was joking or not, but I absolutely love Captain Ron.

Yeah, Nicholson's death in the movie's definitely a problem, but I always figured they could find some kind of a way to bring him back.

And you know, that said, Batman might not need a car, but you could argue he wouldn't be as cool without one.

Never heard anything about Burton wanting to give him a car. I can see a spaceship, maybe. Ah, but who am I kidding? I would've eaten it up. I would've been all over this movie. Still disappointing it was never made.

Amen.

Dude, it would. I remember that being one of the things about this movie I was looking forward to the most.
