When you say Season 10's fixing the William thing, how so? I always feel like I'm missing something whenever I read an issue.

Watched these last week in preparation for this week's review and these are probably two of my least favorite episodes of the season, which I generally find to be better than its reputation would suggest. The Lone Gunmen episode was okay, I guess, but the whole time you're watching it you know they're gonna die, so it

The idea of any of those sounds really terrible.

Especially makes sense considering the demand for Doggett. Think IDW gets tweets and messages all the time asking about him. So it'd satisfy that end of the fanbase at least.

Best one-off issue for me was Number 9. Number 8 was pretty good, too, but I think I liked 9 the best. It was a good done-in-one MOTW in my opinion. Read Number 10 over the weekend and didn't much care for it — a bit of a head scratcher. But seems like every issue I've read's that way. I usually have to read them

Thanks for the link. Will have to check it out.

As for Harrison and Doggett, I just looked at my Season 10 hardcover. Reyes is with a blonde haired agent named Hendricks at the beginning of Issue 3. Ever since I saw Harrison in Season Eight, and now that I've seen her in Season Nine, I've wondered if that's who that character's supposed to be. I've never heard of

Ah. Thanks for the link. Had no idea.

Don't know if this is a good place to mention it or not, as I also mention it downthread, but I tweeted Chris Ryall at IDW about doing a Doggett/Reyes spinoff comic earlier this week. He seemed into it, didn't think it was a bad idea. IDW usually publishes several titles if they've got a successful franchise. (I'm

Glad you mention that. That was kind of my reaction when I read the criticism of it too. Who's to say Doggett rushing in to save the day isn't the deus ex machina?

That's awesome, man. Thanks for explaining. How do you know all this stuff?

Tweeted Chris Ryall over at IDW about doing a Doggett/Reyes spin-off comic. To his credit he tweeted right back, said it wasn't a bad idea. He said that he too had been following the Season Nine coverage and suggested AV Club do Season Ten next. At this point it wouldn't be too tough to do. There have only been five

Thought both episodes were really solid, but I've thought that about most of the episodes so far this season, so I was surprised when I saw the B+ page when I pulled up the main page. That said, I enjoyed Improbable a lot, thought the numerology stuff was great, as well as Burt Reynolds. It's crazy the killer in it's

Elaborate.

Don't be embarrassed man. Glad you told me. I've never had a letter printed, let alone when I was a kid. So you've got my admiration, man. No need to be embarrassed. And in such a great run, too.

As I've mentioned in most if not all of my comments of the Season Nine reviews, I've been loving Season Nine so far. I've enjoyed the mytharc episodes as well as the MOTWs. The only episode I thought was kind of weak was "Lord of the Flies," but it wasn't all that bad. I've said before that I think a lot of the

This is probably not going to be real popular, but this touches on something that seems to come up fairly frequently, which is that I hate kids in things. They're always so "cute" and "precocious" — it's irritating every time you see it, the kid in "Scary Monsters" included. When he was whining at the beginning of the

She looked really good in her apartment in 4D too.

Finally caught up with The AV Club so I can post when the reviews actually hit. I'm kind of surprised though, since I thought both episodes were pretty solid, Audrey Pauley especially. Thought it was a great Reyes episode, thought she made sense and thought the relationship she had with Doggett made sense. (They like

So is Wyle gonna be in the new show? Were the old TV movies any good?
