Probably the same for me. I still love the show, and will go with it whatever it wants to do, but I haven't been enjoying it nearly as much since they moved to the new office. I like the first three seasons, with the first probably being my favorite. I remember watching it when it first came on and it wasn't as big of

Yeah, "Work" is also a great song.

Haven't posted in awhile (since October), but can't help but chime in on this. I graduated high school in 2001 and remember this album from that time, and it instantly takes me back to that summer, fall and early winter. Used to listen to it all the time. Despite 9/11, it seems to recall a somewhat happy time for me.

But thanks for being a dick about it.

Pileggi's great on Dallas. He makes that show.

I think the comic's pretty solid. The first story was good and it really felt like The X-Files. It's been something I've been picking up each week it comes out.

Don't know how much of a role Carter has. My impression's that he's basically been supervising it in an approve or veto kind of way.

Doesn't do anything for me based on the previews.

I didn't see Gravity. Doesn't do anything for me for whatever reason. But it would be cool if Bad Grampa did that.

Was she hot?

Yeah, that was pretty nasty.

@avclub-4c93e18166419da61b1ca433c866d9e5:disqus I know exactly what you're talking about. It wasn't off-limits growing up at our house, but I remember how unpleasant it was just to watch. It was so bizarre.

I think Shadow's pretty solid. And Baldwin's a big part of that. Agreed that he would've made a good Batman in the 80s. You can see Hunt for Red October skinny Baldwin as Batman. Does anybody know if he tested for it?

I don't know where I fall on all this. I generally find the show a bit of a slog to sit through, but I've found myself really looking forward to the new season. (Of course, this thread's dampened that to a degree. Guess I've forgotten some of the things that aren't that great about it.) Maybe it has something to do

@avclub-9c33ea7188cb0fc5d524f4ad1e8d8fc5:disqus On a related note, because of Weiner I can no longer listen to the commentaries on the Mad Men DVDs. I mean, I like the show, and I suppose Weiner's part of it, but man, he does not do himself any favors.

@avclub-62812d8eb06386505986efff8b5e43ac:disqus Totally right on Reedus and his appearance. He really does look like that kind of guy.

Yeah, for whatever reason I've gotten really used to Carol. (Maybe because she's one of the few ancillary characters who's been on there since the beginning.) I always tense up whenever there's a chance she might get killed. I was watching bits and pieces of an episode during the marathon the other night and it struck

I saw once on IMDB that Hanks was in the running to play Batman when Keaton dropped out. Of course, I realize I saw it on IMDB, so I take it with a grain of salt, but did anybody else hear that? Is there any truth to it?

I still wish we would've seen him as Superman. The costume pics that leaked online awhile back look really good to me.

Shawshank might be the best film.
