Well, now I have to see it.

I did find it believable. He was in so much mental and emotional pain (that he could only allow himself to feel as physical). He just couldn't take it anymore.

    Cheese on cheese!

They can take their sweet time. I am loving the BCS universe in its own right.

Yes, Kim's got to go. But let her go gently, successfully. Like, meet another man and dump Jimmy. I wouldn't be happy to see that, but it's better than many alternatives.

From what I gather, this is typical behavior. I hear about the return of middle school dynamics again and again from friends with moms in assisted living/retirement home scenarios.

Oh, yeah. It's gonna kill him.

“The truth is you never mattered all that much to me.” That was a lie, and it signaled Chuck's final undoing. He tried to maintain the facade of successful, powerful lawyer, and tried to use that self-presentation one more time to humiliate his brother, who once again was running to him for approval, for respect, for

Wow, you were paying attention with the Yuri connection. I just had to go digging for that (see my reply to moflicky below).

Me either. It's made me realize that my interest in the show has been waning for the last two seasons. Now I'm just bored, can't even make it through episode 2. Over and out!

Well, and how about the whole Stasi intro way at the beginning? Has that been referenced since?

I'm with you. This show blows it with music again and again.

I love this show. But I don't think it's nitpicking to say that the musical selections often are ham-handed. The Nina Simone song accompanying the rebellion was a cliched choice, much like White Rabbit at Jezebel's. The show deserves better.

Men Against Fire. (One of my favorites. Yup, dark as hell.)

And that would be fine. This season is nowhere near the quality of the first two. Just end it before it gets worse.

    I do miss the giggle.

I can't stop, either. And I am, as a rule, able to drop shows that have gone bad. Is the acting? (For the most part, very good.) The feeling that it's camp, on a certain level? (Spacey is clearly having so much fun.) Claire's excellent wardrobe? I do think that season 1 was genuinely good. Corey Stoll, in particular,

But I could not get through a single day, no, a single afternoon, in any one of her dresses. They are utterly unforgiving—so tight, so figure-hugging, and she's always in heels. She can pull it off, but how can she breathe?

Thank you for calling it out. That statement made me cringe.

Madeline Brewer is wonderful. She stood out in the first season of Orange Is the New Black (young junkie with cornrows and neck tat) and was also good in Black Mirror. I hope this part proves to be her breakthrough.
