1984 was probably THAT BOOK in high school that put Britta over the edge at 16, and lead her to this anarchist lifestyle that she adopted because Orwell gets it and Radiohead gets it and fuck the man. Meanwhile that book has sold about a zillion copies.
Those RDDs are killer.
Ahhh, makes sense. I missed the first 2-3 minutes, having gotten lost driving home from right down the damn street. Blargh. Moving sucks sometimes.
This comment made no sense, since I can't read.
I don't know, man. I definitely get people's negative reactions to Troy's fake molestation storyline, but it got a lot of laughs from me and I love that he knows how best to manipulate Britta to get her to like him.
That first gag of Pierce drinking ink just made me laugh so much. And HUZZAH for another Shirley plot not involving her Christianity!
Wait, what? I don't think I caught that line at all.
Don't think so. New Subway had longer hair and no glasses.
Ooooh, girrrrl… I like the idea that Pierce's seasonal arcs involve his reactions to deaths in the family, and death in general. The fact is, when you're 19 or 25, you feel like you have all the time in the world left to follow your ambitions, and your heart, and whatever. But at Pierce's age, you're closer to the end…
Best Annie! Just like the OTHER Interior Design episode, her plot was with Jeff and involved J/A stuff in the non-awkward fashion that I wish they'd always address that relationship.
Perfection.
Who is this evil genius? How is he so aware of the relationship dynamics of a British cult favorite? Troy must really be worth the effort.
I hope it catches on to the non-roommates. I'd love to hear a Britta'd version.
I loved that. And I love that Shirley was part of the conversation, since according to her horror story that's one of Britta's defining characteristics.
I really, really loved this episode. As would be expected of a 2-parter, there's a lot of setup going on, but the whole thing felt very natural.
I'd like to marry this comment.
I'll take the over.
Kickmuncher 3?!
I didn't laugh out loud a whole lot during this episode, but Ken Jeong as Renee Zellweger got me. I died.
