Although he did also have some issues with women. To his credit, I *think* those were consensual.

Looks like those clowns in Congress have done it again!

Getting royalty-free stock photos is hard.

I can't believe anybody is taking this prick seriously. It makes Mitt Romney's 47% comment look so tame by comparison. That's the world we're in now.

Shades is Latino.

Just thought I would drop by to comment that I'm so happy Thandie Newton is in this and that they are giving her good material. She managed to effectively convey bad acting with the "aggressive" scene, and that is ironically one of the toughest things for an actor to do well. She killed every scene she was in this

Bitchslaps are to this show what lock-ripping was to Jessica Jones.

The continuity of the films is nothing the like complex, but carefully constructed, continuity of the comics. When I look at Claremont's (and Lousise Simonson's) careful, deliberate continuity in the 80s and compare it to what's going on now, there's no question that Fox has screwed this up.

Spot on. The X-Men movies trashed the comic continuity and replaced with a complete mess that they keep overwriting and contradicting at every possible opportunity. There's no plan or even attempt to remain consistent. It's beyond frustrating.

As long with we are mixing and matching, let's put Matt Murdock and Luke Cage in the same room and see if some sparks fly.

The problem is that Mike Colter has chemistry with everybody. I'm really fighting the Luke/Claire thing at the end of Luke Cage even as I recognize how right it feels in the moment.

I'm pretty certain that we will get Hellcat. I still think there is a better than 50% chance Dr. Strange will appear.

Jim Shooter was really the villain for the entire Marvel Universe in the 80s, when you think about it.

Yeah, Luke Cage and Daredevil both really stumbled at the end of their respective seasons. Luke Cage was less disappointing, but Diamondback was just a terrible, grating villain after we had both Cottonmouth and Mariah for most of the season. I feel like the end of Jessica Jones at least lived up to its promise.

LET. PEOPLE. ENJOY. THINGS.

Right. It wasn't the comics character at all. Which makes one wonder why they even used the name. I wouldn't think on it too deeply.

Yeah, and in typical XCU fashion, they'll just contradict the established continuity and do what the hell they want. And they wonder why these movies aren't doing as well as the MCU films.

What can we say? Dude is good looking at any age.

They JUST fucked up Caliban for the purposes of X-Men: Apocalypse. Now they are already overwriting that movie to place him at a different point in continuity? Seriously, Fox.

Yeah, unfortunately, you expect way too much of people. Seems like everything has to be filtered through a policy/legislation filter or it doesn't have any intrinsic value. Which is exactly why we need films like this — to disabuse us of that notion.
