I started watching It's Always Sunny when it was in its first season and I was in my late 20s. Am I allowed to keep watching it now that it will be on the 18-34 demographic channel? Can I be grandfathered in?

CN doesn't seem capable of admitting it has made mistakes. If that were true we'd be seeing more Teen Titans instead of Teen Titans Go. (Although to be honest I never watched TT so I can't vouch for its quality, I just know a lot of people were pissed when it got cancelled.)
