Honestly the mixtapes are kind of where it's at.  Da Drought 3 is weirdly consistent in its awesomeness (despite an obscene run-time).  Because his mixtapes dispense with the need to create a radio-ready pop tune they are basically unadulterated flow without all the obnoxious hooks and cheeseball autotune—one can see

There is actually a Kickstarter campaign to bring it to the States.  Ends today and already reached its goal FWIW.

I think this is pretty right on.  To me, sympathy has an element of "feeling sorry for someone" whereas empathy is genuinely "feeling FOR someone", a more universal understanding of the condition they occupy.  Empathy implies relation where sympathy necessitates a sort of emotional distance.
