YOU think it was catchy? I was Rapunzel's Prince, and I can't get the songs out of my brain. For a while, the Music Man helped, but that goddamned "Into-the-woods, to-Grandmother's-house" is just Wolverine-like in its ability to regenerate into my mind.

EGG. ZACK. LEE.

Anybody watching American Ninja Warrior? I've been watching since before it was American, back when G4 used to rebroadcast Sasuke as Ninja Warrior. Comcast has fucked it all up, taking too many cues from NBC's Olympics approach.

Upvoted for username.

Thanks for your daily Jeopardy posts, Jay! My wife and I watch and play along every day so it's nice to know there are other avid fans out there. This turned out to be a good game, though it seemed pretty unbalanced at times. Great wagering by Alison.

Jeff Fahey, like Sam Neill, is an actor whose movies since 1994 I know I can avoid simply by their being cast. The list goes on. Nathan Lane and Robin Williams since 1997. Johnny Depp since 2004. Skeet Ulrich since he started. Et cetera.

Naaaaa. That sounds pretty baaad.

Which schedule are you watching? I understand Canada is two weeks or so ahead of SyFy, where I've been watching. Tonights (s2e12) was a game changer, and I'd really like at least an open thread for discussion.

Oh, do you have to create an account now?

Yeah dude, bingo. The wife and I play along and "thou shalt not category-hop" is one of the commandments, along with "thou shalt select thy next question quickly" and "if thou knowest the first name, thou shalt say it before the last name"

Oh, I never cared about that. I just don't enjoy the play-at-home aspect as much when players bounce around the board. Running a category in a single go is an impressive feat, and Arthur could have run a couple in a row at points.

I had no issue with the Hermes question, and answered it correctly, because he was, of course, the messenger.

I know it's terrible, but Desiree's wide-eyed thought process when selecting a question reminded me of a Nyquil-addicted housewife I met some years back at a random holiday party in the suburbs. I therefore hold Nyquil responsible for the three unseen answers at the end of the first round, in a category I was actively

so, rixty minutes?

It's his last chance at an Emmy for that role. He probably didn't expect another chance after Malcolm ended (3 noms). Nothing keeping him from taking another role in another show and rolling up more awards with that.

Lester in jail would look more like Oz than that. Just because he got caught on the run doesn't mean that he's any less a monster.

Nah, Bill's a Barney. Vern called it in the first episode.

Must be Italian!

He was a scared widower and a bad cop with a daughter. There was no mom or baby coming. And anyway, the show covered more journeys than just Molly's. Lester, for one giant gleaming example. Why can't Gus have had a journey too? Didn't he need to have one to take down Malvo?

I was waiting until I'd read all the comments to remark on it, and yours came in just as I'd finished up with that. This is the first to point it out!
