On the subject of Christmas and Star Wars, Hallmark is putting out a Death Star tree topper. Because nothing says the holidays like a starship that blows up planets.
Ahhhh… Axl in his tight bicycle shorts.. that brings me back to my high school years.
I picture and Elle and Dakota in 20 years doing Whate Ever Happened to Baby Jane.
fyi Ghosts was great!
I'm going to agree with the person Smile being more middle school than high school. It's what I call a perennial, it's always on summer reading lists. They'll be reading it forever.
Years ago, when she was coming out with the Babysitter Club adaptions we were lucky to have her come into the library for a program with the teens. She was very nice! And now she's too big to get ($$) but I appreciate the time she spent with us :-)
Adding a main Chinese character didn't hurt.
If you're a Union member in NYC you can apply for membership. Then you don't have to wait on line, just use the website for shows.
Genius - Pretty good, everyone out acts Jude Law.
The Shallows - Awesomely fun summer thriller shark movie. Just the right length, never feels too long. I liked that it teased being a found footage movie but it's not.
Independence Day: Resurgence - Loved it, probably more than the first movie.
Neon Demon - Beautiful but…
Thanks for the heads up, I'll kindle it.

Thanks!
So Vivaca A Fox's character goes from exotic dancer to doctor in 20 years? And Wtf happened to Goldblum character's ex wife?
Saw it last night with a packed house and it was great. Dare I say I liked it better than part 1? I did! I like how Emmerich uses the same actors in all his movies, even the dog with the creepy blue eyes from Stonewall.
Just saw this and loved it. Very suspenseful, well shot. Great summer hit.
Maybe it's set in NYC and for once, it's going to be correctly diverse?
I am seeing this Saturday. I'm excited to see how bad it's going to be.
Miranda and 50 Cent for the win.
The timeliness of this movie is fantastic.
