I was thinking of this earlier, too. If Sherlock planned on faking his death, but did not account for Moriarty to commit suicide, then his plan must have assumed that Moriarty would be watching.

Yeah, all it would have taken was showing them pictures of Sherlock and telling them he is a Baddie who will hurt them would be enough to terrify the girl. I think the mask theory is pretty ridiculous.

Um, Watson sitting all alone in 221B, barefoot, across from Sherlock's empty chair? Heartbreaking. Freeman was outstanding.

Yeah, I remember reading that they knew how Sherlock got out of it when they filmed it, and took care to film the reveal scenes as well.

Yes, I think Mycroft MUST have been involved, the question is to what extent. Not only was he in on it in the original story (or as revealed in Empty House), but I just don't buy that Mycroft would make the mistake of feeding Moriarty so much information on Sherlock without thinking through the consequences.

Another theory is that Sherlock was playing dumb to get Moriarty to confess and was recording it. At times it looks like he might be gripping something in his fists behind his back (perhaps recording it with his phone?) since he then leaves it behind on the roof instead of risking it getting crushed during the jump.

I could see her getting suspicious of/annoyed with Sherlock to go over Lestrade with her concerns, but the rationale seemed kind of weak—if Sherlock has been behind all of these bizarre, clever cases, why would he kidnap the children HIMSELF and then put HIMSELF in an interrogation room with the girl to have himself…

Yes, and on tie-in Watson blog, there's a link to a "news" story about Sherlock's death that just mentions it as a suicide, not a murder-suicide, so…someone moved Moriarty's body? He didn't actually die?

After this aired in the UK, the Moff did some of his own fandom trolling and said that he read All The Theories and that no one on the interwebs had figured it out yet, and pointed out that everyone was missing something Sherlock did that was really, really Out of Character that directly relates to how he faked his…

Actually, I'm kind of glad they passed when they did. I have a feeling it would have wound up being more of a flop than a success. Wonder Woman is hard to get right, and though Joss could have been successful with the story/character, if it didn't blow the box office open like Avengers did, it would have really just…
