re: dork fantasies

Anyone have any insight on the accuracy of the Sioux stuff?  Or what battle they were referencing? Clueless savages "running at us with clubs" doesn't exactly sound like Sitting Bull.

But Sex and the City wasn't a series about trying to succeed as a writer, much less a show aiming to give you a voyeuristic peek into New York's publishing industry.

Yeah, I think Noel pretty much had it pegged.  More about fanboys hating any kind of change.

If you think only white people love The Wire…

How can I take back my "liked" (which I accidentally clicked while meaning to hit reply and say that this was one of the stupidest things I've ever read on the internet)?

how can this show veer so quickly between brilliant and cringe-inducingly bad?  jesus, that pizza dance was horrible.  the joke itself was tired and unbelievably sitcom-y.  then the execution…

Sorry to feed to trolls, but I couldn't help remembering this David Simon interview:  "On the other hand, are you measuring it by asking, 'Did
I see a gun put to this person's head? Did I see them raped? Did I see
them wreck their car drunkenly and end up in the hospital? Were they
put on trial for their life? Were
